The Irritable Bowel Syndrome
What is the Irritable Bowel Syndrome or in short IBS?
First of all a syndrome is a group of symptoms. And secondly IBS is no disease – it is a functional disorder...
... A functional disorder means that something in your body is not working right.
The irritable bowel syndrome affects only the colon or the so called large intestine. Many times it is misdiagnosed with colitis or spastic colitis. Common beliefs are that it is incurable.
The cause of IBS is unknown. The muscles and nerves of the bowel seem to be very sensitive. So after you have eaten, symptoms of IBS show up and normally very painful.
This disorder affects 21% of the world’s population. But it’s more common in first world countries.
The most common symptoms of IBS are: Diarrhea or constipation, bloating, gas, cramps, lower abdominal pain, etc.
It is believed that irritable bowel syndrome does not harm the colon or lead to other health problems.
IBS has no cure (claim of the medical world) but the condition can be improved by proper diet and lifestyle changes…
… Sometimes just getting rid of the stress in your life can change your condition.
But there are clinical short term solutions as well. But medication will treat the symptoms and not the root of the problem. The root of the problem in my point of view is an unhealthy lifestyle.
But you probably will have to make some changes and see what works and what doesn’t.
Aloe Vera juice is known to improve the overall digestive process in the body. So Aloe Vera is definitely worth a try.
Aloe Vera combined with healthy eating habits (enough fiber in your diet) will change the condition for the better. Healthy eating habits are important if you have irritable bowel syndrome or not.
My advice to you if you have IBS is to make a colon cleanse regularly. Even if you don’t have this disorder, it is always wise to keep your colon as clean as possible. There are different colon cleansing methods you can use.
1.- A good colon cleanse can be achieved with drinking a large quantity of Aloe Vera juice for a certain period of time …
… My recommendation is to consume ½ liter of Aloe Vera juice daily for 3 days.
2.- A raw vegetable and fruit diet, replacing your meals with raw vegetables. In between the meals eat raw fruit and drink a lot of pure water. This colon cleansing method should be done for 4 days.
3.- In the market there are different types of herbal formulas and powders, recommended for colon cleansing. You can use these separately as indicated on every product, or you can include them in my recommended methods.
I recommend doing a colon cleansing method once a month. You will feel better and feel more energy.
To begin it would be a good idea to do a master cleanse to detox your body, to lose weight and to get healthy fast. Find out how - click here.
