Here is a list of very important aspects you should consider when thinking about healthy eating:


1.) First of all, drink plenty of water. The human body consists of 74% water and it is very important for a healthy diet to consume sufficient amount of water. The water in our bodies has different functions: It acts as a radiator to cool down our system (that is why we sweat); it cleanses our bodies of waste and toxins produced by our metabolism; to name a few.


2.) Eat different kinds of foods. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Healthy eating gives you the chance to try different kind of foods you normally would not eat. Eating fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes is a special healthy aspect because they are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals. Important is to consume these kind of foods as fresh as possible.


3.) Another very important aspect to healthy eating is to limit your intake of refined foods. Processed foods have a lot of salts, sugars and additives. Especially sugar can increase your weight over the normal level.


4.) Talking about weight a very important aspect is to limit the amount of food you eat, especially the sweet and processed foods. It is important to point out that you should eat enough calories but not overdo it. The simplest way to do is to listen to your body. Always eat to feel good and not having the sensation of being full. And before you eat; do you feel hungry? Or do you just have appetite for something?


5.) Healthy eating should be combined with enough physical activities or exercises to properly digest your food.


Following these simple rules could make the
big difference in your life.

• First of all, take time to eat your food. If you eat slowly you will enjoy it a lot more. Don’t make the mistake thousands of people do ...

• And another very important point is, have the television turned off at all times while you are eating. Eating in front of the television normally provokes stress. Even if you don’t notice it ...

... but still it does. And when we are stressed, our liver secretes more bile than necessary resulting in an unbalanced digestion.


• Eat early. This is a good point. A good day start is a good breakfast. But if there is just a one or two hour to lunch, don’t even think about breakfast.
